Handcrafted Cora Large Hammered Hoop Earrings

What first struck me about Gemma Sangster's jewellery is that it's a Scottish brand that feels completely contemporary. Gemma makes every piece by hand in her studio in the middle of Glasgow, and her designs work with any look.

They're also incredibly versatile. The same earrings work every day with jeans and a jumper, and just as well dressed up for a party or with a cocktail dress. I also love that lots of her collection is made from recycled metals.

The Cora hoops are a lovely statement earring. They're tapered and hand-hammered in recycled silver, which leaves the edges with a soft, slightly frayed look, so every pair is unique. Because the silver is fine, they're surprisingly light and comfortable to wear all day.
