Bespoke Gifting
Made Scotland isn’t a big online shop. It’s me, Alexandra, and I’m always happy to help you find the right gift. Think of it as a personal gifting service: tell me who you’re buying for, and I’ll give you ideas, point you in the right direction, or put something together for you.
What’s on this website is just a starting point. I know makers right across Scotland, from mills and weavers to potters, smokehouses and distillers, so if you’re looking for something particular, there’s a good chance I can find it.
How I can help
Choosing a gift. Tell me who it’s for and your budget, and I’ll suggest ideas, from my range or beyond it.
Changing a gift box. If an item in one of my boxes isn’t quite right for the person you have in mind, I’m happy to look at swapping it.
Finding something specific. A particular maker, a type of piece, or something you’ve seen and can’t track down.
Hard-to-get items and tight deadlines. Because I know the makers personally, I can often get hold of things or fast-track orders that would otherwise take longer.
Weddings and celebrations. From guest gifts to personalised pieces, such as 21 wool blankets I had embroidered with a couple’s monogram or wedding date for their wedding at Penicuik Estate.
