A note on postage

I was chatting to the lady in my local post office in Stow, in the Scottish Borders, and she pointed out that postage prices used to go up once a year, but now they rise more often. With the latest increase, my standard delivery charge is now £5.95.

In fact, sending a parcel usually costs me more than that, often around £7, before you add the wrapping, the packaging and my trips to the post office. So £5.95 is good value, and far easier than a trip into town.

UK delivery

  • £5.95 standard UK delivery
  • Free UK delivery on orders over £70 (excluding jewellery, willow and lampshades)
  • Jewellery and small willow pieces, such as stars, have a flat £5.95 delivery charge, whatever your order total
  • Willow harvest, shopping and carrying baskets have a £10 delivery charge
  • Lampshades have a £15 delivery charge
  • Willow log and laundry baskets have a £20 delivery charge

Orders are usually dispatched within 2–3 working days by Royal Mail Tracked 48, with no signature needed, and typically arrive within 2 working days of dispatch. Jewellery, lampshades and willow are made to order and sent by their makers, so delivery times are different: please check the product page, or get in touch.

Items sent directly by the maker

Jewellery, lampshades and willow are sent directly by their makers, so they'll arrive separately from the rest of your order. Many are made to order, so they usually take longer to reach you than items I send myself. If you'd like an estimated delivery date, before or after you order, email me at info@madescotland.com and I'll check with the maker.

International orders

The website delivers within the UK only, but I'm happy to consider international orders on a bespoke basis, typically for orders of £250 or more in products, such as several blankets or a large gift box. Delivery is charged on top. With recent changes to international tariffs, shipping has typically cost from £55 upwards, and I'll give you an exact quote before you order. Get in touch at info@madescotland.com and I'll look into delivery to your country. International customers are responsible for any customs duties or local taxes.
