Tartan Lambswool Scottish Blanket in Dundee Old Weathered

Made in Selkirk in the Scottish Borders by Lochcarron, these pure lambswool blankets are woven for comfort, longevity and style. Soft, colourful and naturally insulating, they’re perfect for curling up at home or packing for a weekend away.

Dundee Old Weathered is one of the more unusual tartans in the range: a muted orange and sage green base, crossed with fine overchecks of pale blue, yellow, red and brown. The original pattern was found in the Dundee Museum, labelled simply “Dundee”, and was woven from a formula in the historic Wilson pattern book. The weathered colourway softens the tones, giving it the look of well-loved cloth.

Each one is finished with a traditional roped fringe, and is just as useful as a picnic rug in summer as it is on the sofa on a winter’s evening.
