Òir

Òir Cedarwood & Vetiver Hand and Body Soap

A handmade Scottish soap with a warm, woody scent of cedarwood, clary sage, rose geranium and vetiver. It's earthy and grounding, with a soft floral note from the geranium, and works well as a gift for anyone who prefers something less sweet.

These soaps are as smooth as butter and a joy to use. Òir's founder, Jolene Roberts, grew up in the Scottish Highlands and set out to make a soap that cut plastic waste, smelt amazing and had nothing nasty in it. She's done it.

Each bar is handmade in small batches, using the cold process method, in Òir's workshop just outside Edinburgh. It's made with natural ingredients, scented only with essential oils, and works as a luxury, plastic-free replacement for shower gel. Òir (pronounced "aww-rr") is the Gaelic word for golden.
