Match Striker Pot in Plain

These little striker pots have been a best seller at my markets recently, and it's easy to see why. Keep one by the fire or next to a candle, and simply strike a match on the pad.

I first came across Chris Viviani's work at Bowhouse in Fife, where his pieces stood out immediately. Simple, balanced and beautifully made, the kind of objects that invite you to slow down and take a moment.

Chris works from his studio in the Ayrshire countryside, where each piece is made by hand. There's a simplicity to his work that feels calm and considered, with nothing unnecessary.

The base is left rough and unglazed, so the pot stays put when you strike. Choose from plain white or speckle.
