Chrisie MacCuish, founder of Wairm (the Scots word for warm), has the covers knitted in a mill in the Scottish Borders from 100% cashmere. She's thought hard about every detail, inside and out. The bottles are made from fair-trade natural rubber, certified by the Fair Rubber Association, from FSC-certified forests. That certification means the plantations are regularly audited to make sure working and living conditions for rubber growers are good.
