I first came across Chris Viviani’s work at Bowhouse in Fife, where his pieces stood out immediately. Simple, elegant, and made to be used, with a natural balance between function and form.

This ceramic garlic grater is a newer addition to his collection. Handmade in his Ayrshire studio, its finely textured surface allows you to turn fresh garlic into a smooth, fragrant paste with very little effort - drawing out flavour in a way that feels both simple and intuitive.

A small detail that brings more flavour - and a little more enjoyment - to cooking.
