Our Best Father's Day Gifts - Made Scotland

Our Best Father's Day Gifts

May 27, 2026Alexandra Borthwick

They say dads are difficult to buy for. But maybe we're just not looking in the right place for our father's day gifts?

When I look back at the presents we used to buy our dad, it makes me shudder. A succession of ridiculous novelty corkscrews. Pointless paperweights he never needed. And a lot of cigars. Incidentally, it's pretty crazy how as pre-teens we could just walk into a shop and buy a handful of cigars for our dad.

So this Father's Day at Made Scotland we've pulled together a perfectly curated collection of Father's Day gifts - well-made things by Scottish makers that he'll actually use.

Dook Soap

Simple and wonderful smelling, Dook Soap is handmade in maker Helen's Portobello workshop.

Handcrafted Charcuterie Board

These boards are handcrafted by Eòghainn, a talented teenager on the Isle of Skye. Perfect for charcuterie, cheese or anything else, to create a good looking spread.

Scotland's Distilleries - The Book

Perfect for the whisky lover, this beautifully photographed book takes you all around Scotland's distilleries, their workings, history and more.

Letterbox Chocolate Gift and Handwritten Card

For something small, just a little bit more than a card, our letterbox chocolate gift comes with a handwritten card. Just leave us your message and we'll add it in.

Luxury Bath Salts

Luxury bath salts which combine mineral rich salts with carefully blended botanical oils, created by Alice Scott in her Glasgow workshop.

The Father's Day Good Things Box

Our signature gift box filled with delicious things to eat, including Isle of Skye sea salt chocolate, Isle of Arran cheddar cheese truckle, a jar of chutney, Dalgetty oatcakes from the Borders, and Tabrifics tablet, all beautifully presented.

North Ronaldsay Lighthouse Print

A print of North Ronaldsay Lighthouse by East Lothian artist Ian Darling. It'll bring colour and a bit of Scotland  to any room.

Speckle Mug

Something for the morning coffee, a beautifully handcrafted speckle mug by Dumfriesshire-based ceramicist Chris Viviani.

Harris Tweed Glasses Case

A bit more fun than your average glasses case. This Harris Tweed case, made by Britton Scotland, is a vibrant blue and we've an array of other colours on the website.

Woollen Blanket

This classic is our most popular blanket. It's soft, the colour is wonderful, and it will go well in any setting. Made in a Scottish mill.

Blue Herringbone Socks

There's something about cracking into a good new pair of socks, and these ones are knitted in the Scottish Borders.

Blackthorn Sea Salt

For the foodie dad, a box of Blackthorn Sea Salt from the Blackthorn Tower in Ayrshire. Simple and delicious.
