Shibui Tea

Masala Chai

A take on Masala Chai from India. Traditionally it would be made with hot milk and lots of sugar but this is great just black and brewed for about 3 minutes. Can be used to make chai lattes too. Black Tea, Cinnamon, Ginger, Cardamom Seed, Cardamom Pods, Red Rose petals, Vanilla flavouring, Cinnamon flavouring, Ginger flavouring. 3-4 mins Using freshly boiled water.

Shibui tea bags made of biodegradable cornstarch can be put in commercial composting. Unfortunately, they are not suitable for home composting. Naturally caffeine-free, they can be steeped in freshly boiled water for up to 5 minutes. A single pyramid bag can be used to make one large mug or a pot of tea. Plastic-free, the card tubes are recyclable and the tea is packed with a compostable Natureflex wrapper, making it a great way to store the tea once opened.
