Katherine Cowtan

A'an Cashmere Silk Scarf | Strath

This scarf was designed by artist and weaver Katherine Cowtan, who chooses colours to reflect the changing seasons, colours, weather and moods in the landscape around her Stirlingshire home in the heart of Scotland. Her designs are woven to her specifications in limited editions using fine silk and cashmere at a mill in the Scottish Borders. Her designs are named after Scottish hills, and the colours of this collection were inspired by reflections of blue sky on water in the lochs, rivers and burns near her home. Lightweight but generously sized at 50 x 200 cm approx in 50% silk & 50% cashmere, they can be worn as a cosy winter scarf or summer wrap.
