Log Basket in Wonderful Colours

The basket is made with muliticoloured Scottish and English willows on the sides; Bleu, Brittany Green, Carl Jensen, Flanders Red, Black French, etc... all woven with colour, contrast and texture in mind.

Somerset willow (Black Maul) is usually used for the stakes and top and bottom waling (a strong grippy weave always used to start and end the sides).

It is based on a traditional ‘one bushel’ size. It’s extremely comfortable for weight bearing, being a basket stemming from a design that has evolved over possibly hundreds of years.

As item is made to order, it takes approximately up to 16 weeks to fulfil. 50 x 41cm (16” x 19.5”), 47cm with handles (18.5”)
