Harvest basket for gathering veg in your garden or allotment, or just carrying your bits and bobs around. It is strong, very light, and also versatile.

This is the same as the Scottish Willow Harvest Basket, and as the Harvest Basket in Gold and Green, but woven with a mixture of Scottish and /or English willows with the bark on, for a natural look. It has a strong handle which the sides are actually woven into.

Made with a traditional underfoot base (you hold it in place with your feet whilst weaving), which is super strong. Maker Anna Liebmann says, 'I will usually use ‘Carl Jensen’ or ‘Dicky Meadows’ for the side stakes and waling, and ‘Bleu’ for the main weaving on the sides.

'Carl Jensen and Dicky Meadows are both a greenish colour, whilst the Bleu usually has a good blue tone – but it depends on the year! So the basket will most likely be greeny blue. If ‘Carl Jensen’ or ‘Dicky Meadows’ are unavailable I will use ‘Black Maul’ for the side stakes and waling, which is a brownish colour, so the basket will be in shades of green, blue and brown.'
